Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 Update: Exciting Growth, Community Connections & a New Way to Get Online

Quick Summary

Our Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 update includes one of our biggest launches of the year: Digital Essentials, a streamlined website and digital presence package created specifically for small businesses with straightforward needs. This quarter, we also celebrated team anniversaries, participated in local events throughout Meadville and Crawford County, supported area nonprofits, recognized women in business, and continued publishing educational resources for business owners.

Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 Update: A Busy Summer of Growth

Quarter 3 brought a little bit of everything to Blue Canopy Marketing. We introduced a new service built around a need we were hearing directly from small business owners. We celebrated members of our team. We spent time out in the Meadville community. We supported local organizations. And, as always, we continued creating resources designed to make marketing and managing a digital presence a little less overwhelming. But if there is one thing that defined this Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 update, it was finding new ways to meet businesses where they are. That was especially true with our biggest project of the quarter: the launch of Digital Essentials.

Our Biggest Q3 Update: Launching Digital Essentials

For years, we have worked with businesses and organizations that need comprehensive, custom websites, ongoing digital marketing strategies, advanced functionality, and a high level of customization. But we also kept hearing from another type of business owner. They knew they needed a professional website. Maybe they were starting a new business. Maybe their existing website was outdated. Maybe they were relying almost entirely on Facebook, referrals, or word of mouth. They knew their online presence needed work, but they did not necessarily need a large custom website or a complex marketing engagement. We heard them. During Q3, we officially launched Digital Essentials, a streamlined option for businesses that need a professional digital foundation without an overcomplicated process. Digital Essentials combines a professionally designed WordPress website with the foundational pieces a small business needs to establish a credible presence online. That includes a mobile-friendly website, clear calls to action, foundational search engine optimization and analytics, Google Business Profile optimization, and guidance from the Blue Canopy team throughout the process. The package is designed primarily for businesses with straightforward services and website needs, rather than businesses requiring ecommerce, customer portals, extensive integrations, highly customized functionality, or large website architectures. Just as important as what is included is how the process works. Instead of stretching a simple website project across months of meetings and back-and-forth communication, Digital Essentials uses a focused process. We first determine whether the business is a good fit for the package. From there, we gather the necessary information and access, prepare content, complete a concentrated Planning Sprint, develop the website, review the finished work, and move toward launch. And while the process is streamlined, Digital Essentials is not a DIY website. Clients are still working with a real team of strategists, designers, and developers right here at Blue Canopy Marketing. That distinction matters to us. We believe small businesses deserve professional options at different stages of growth. Not every business needs our fully custom website process on day one. But every business should have the opportunity to create an online presence that accurately represents who they are and makes it easier for potential customers to find, understand, and contact them. The launch of Digital Essentials was easily the biggest development in this Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 update, and we are excited to see how it helps more small businesses throughout Meadville, Crawford County, Northwest Pennsylvania, and beyond strengthen their digital foundations. Celebrating One Year With Kathy and Tim

Our Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 update would not be complete without celebrating the people behind the work. This quarter, we recognized two one-year anniversaries on our team. Kathy celebrated one year with Blue Canopy as one of our Digital Marketing Strategists. Over the past year, she has become an important part of the strategy, content, and client support work happening across our accounts. We also celebrated Tim’s first year as one of our Website Designer/Developers. From website design to development and everything that happens behind the scenes before a site launches, Tim has helped us continue delivering thoughtful digital experiences for our clients. We are grateful to have both Kathy and Tim under the Blue Canopy and look forward to seeing what year two brings!

Recognizing American Business Women’s Day

September 22 marked American Business Women’s Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the contributions and accomplishments of women in the workforce and women business owners. As a woman-owned business, it is an occasion that naturally means something to our team. Blue Canopy has had the opportunity to work alongside women business owners, executives, nonprofit leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs throughout Western Pennsylvania and beyond. We are proud to be part of that community and to support women who are building organizations, leading teams, creating jobs, and making an impact in the places they call home.

Getting Out in Downtown Meadville

One of our favorite parts of being a Meadville marketing agency is getting away from our desks every once in a while and taking part in the community around us. This quarter, Blue Canopy was once again a stop during the annual Wine, Brew & Spirits Walk in downtown Meadville. The event brings people into downtown businesses while showcasing Pennsylvania wineries, breweries, and distilleries and has become one of the area’s popular fall traditions. For us, participating is about more than hosting a stop. Events like this give us the chance to welcome people into our space, connect with other local businesses, see familiar faces, and be part of the activity happening throughout downtown Meadville. Our office may be where we do the work, but being part of the Meadville and Crawford County business community continues to be an important part of who Blue Canopy is.

Appreciating Local Small Business Connections

Another meaningful moment in this Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 update came when Gary Svetz of Small Business Jumpstart presented our team with a token of appreciation. Small Business Jumpstart provides education and support for entrepreneurs and existing small businesses, including guidance around business planning, marketing, record-keeping, goal setting, and other fundamentals. We appreciate the recognition, but even more than that, we value the relationships we have built with people and organizations working to strengthen the local small business community. When local businesses have access to good information, trusted resources, and people willing to help them navigate the next stage, the entire community benefits.

Supporting Crawford County Nonprofits During Crawford Gives

Community support continued in August through Crawford Gives, and our team was happy to once again support local nonprofits participating in the annual giving event. Crawford Gives is organized by the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation and brings the community together to support nonprofit organizations serving Crawford County. In 2026, more than 200 organizations participated in the three-day event. Many of the organizations participating in Crawford Gives are doing important work every day in the same communities where we live, work, and serve our clients. For Blue Canopy, supporting local nonprofits is another extension of our commitment to the Crawford County community. We are fortunate to work with nonprofit organizations through our marketing services, but we also believe in supporting the broader network of organizations helping make this area a better place to live and work.

New Marketing Resources Published During Q3

Education remains an important part of our approach to marketing, so this Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 update also includes several new resources created for business owners. In July, we tackled a deceptively simple question: Does My Business Need a Website? The article explores why a website still matters even for businesses that rely heavily on social media, referrals, or word of mouth. It also explains when a DIY solution may be enough and when investing in a professionally developed website makes sense. In August, we published our Domain Ownership Essential Guide, covering one of the most overlooked parts of a business’s digital presence: who actually owns and controls the business domain. Your domain is a valuable digital asset, and understanding who has access to it can prevent major headaches later. Then, in September, we published 7 Powerful Signs It’s Time to Hire a Marketing Agency vs. an In-House Marketing Manager. The article compares the two approaches and helps growing businesses think through expertise, staffing costs, continuity, flexibility, and the realities of managing modern marketing. Together, these resources reflect something we talk about often at Blue Canopy: good marketing decisions start with understanding your options. We do not want business owners to choose a service simply because someone told them they “need” it. We want them to understand what they are investing in, why it matters, and how it fits into the bigger picture.

Looking Ahead After Our Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 Update

Q3 gave us plenty to celebrate, but it also reinforced where we want to keep heading. We want to continue making professional marketing support more accessible to businesses at different stages. We want to keep creating practical resources that help business owners make informed decisions. We want to continue strengthening our relationships throughout Meadville, Crawford County, and Western Pennsylvania. And we want to keep finding better ways to help our clients thrive. Digital Essentials is an important part of that next chapter. As we move into the final quarter of 2026, we are grateful for our team, our clients, our community partners, and everyone who continues to support Blue Canopy Marketing. Thanks for following along with our Blue Canopy Marketing Q3 update. We have plenty more ahead under the canopy.
