Blue Canopy Marketing Q2 Update: Team Building, Projects, and Industry Insights

June 22, 2026

QUICK SUMMARY

During Q2, our team here at Blue Canopy Marketing focused on improving internal processes, strengthening collaboration, staying ahead of industry trends, and delivering impactful results for our clients. From an in-person team meeting and website launches to educational blog content and community-focused initiatives, this Q2 Update highlights everything we’ve been working on throughout the spring months.

Q2 Update: Reflecting on a Productive Spring

As we welcome summer, we’re taking a moment to look back at everything that happened during the second quarter of the year. This Q2 Update showcases the work, collaboration, learning opportunities, and client successes that helped shape the last few months at Blue Canopy Marketing.

Spring is often associated with fresh starts, and that’s exactly how we approached Q2. While we continued serving clients throughout Western Pennsylvania and beyond, we also took time to evaluate our internal processes, explore emerging industry trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Team Collaboration and Process Improvements

One of the biggest highlights of this Q2 Update was our in-person team meeting held on April 20th and 21st. Since our web development team works remotely throughout the year, bringing everyone together in one place provided an invaluable opportunity to collaborate face-to-face. Over the course of two days, we discussed:

  • Internal workflow improvements
  • Emerging digital marketing strategies
  • AI developments impacting the marketing industry
  • Future goals for Blue Canopy Marketing

These conversations help ensure we’re continually improving how we operate and deliver value to our clients. Investing time in strategic planning and collaboration allows us to remain proactive in an industry that evolves rapidly.

Sharing Educational Resources for Business Owners

Education continues to be an important part of our mission. Throughout Q2, we published several blog posts designed to help business owners make informed decisions about their marketing and technology investments.

Business Email vs Personal Email – Why Professional Communication Matters

In April, we published our blog:

“Business Email vs Personal Email: Critical Reasons Your Business Needs a Professional Email”

The article explored why businesses should invest in professional email addresses rather than relying on personal accounts, highlighting benefits such as:

  • Improved credibility
  • Stronger brand consistency
  • Better security
  • Increased customer trust

Helping Businesses Understand Google Workspace

During May, we published:

“Google Workspace for Small Businesses: Boost Productivity and Cut Costs”

The blog discussed how tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet, and Google Docs can help businesses improve efficiency while maintaining affordability.

Businesses interested in learning more can also explore the official Google Workspace resource center for additional information and best practices.

Agency vs AI – Understanding the Difference

As AI continues to dominate industry conversations, we also released:

“Agency vs AI: Why Choosing a Digital Marketing Agency Over AI Is the Smartest Decision for Your Business”

While AI can be a valuable tool, the blog highlighted the importance of strategic thinking, creativity, industry expertise, and human insight that experienced marketing professionals bring to the table.

For businesses looking to maximize their marketing investments, combining technology with expert guidance often delivers the strongest results.

Celebrating Our Team

This Q2 Update wouldn’t be complete without recognizing some birthday celebrations we had within our team.

We celebrated:

  • Kathy’s birthday on April 10th – one of our Digital Marketing Strategists
  • Mandy’s birthday on May 8th – our Owner and Success Coordinator

Recognizing these moments helps us maintain the positive culture that makes Blue Canopy Marketing a great place to work and collaborate.

Supporting Small Businesses and Industry Awareness

During the week of May 3, we recognized National Small Business Week and highlighted the critical role small businesses play in local communities and the broader economy. As a marketing agency that works with organizations across Western Pennsylvania and beyond, we understand the challenges and opportunities business owners face every day. Supporting local businesses remains central to our mission.

We also recognized:

World Marketing Day

On May 27th, we celebrated World Marketing Day by reflecting on the impact that effective marketing has on business growth, customer engagement, and long-term success.

World Social Media Day

On June 30th, we recognized Social Media Day and the important role social media continues to play in helping businesses connect with their audiences, build trust, and increase visibility.

Client Success Spotlight: The Meadville Area Chamber of Commerce

A major accomplishment during this Q2 Update was the completion of client projects, including the redesign of the Meadville Area Chamber of Commerce website.

Projects like this demonstrate the value of thoughtful website development, user-friendly design, and strategic digital experiences that help organizations better serve their audiences.

As a marketing agency based in Western Pennsylvania, we are proud to support organizations that contribute to the growth and success of our local communities.

Looking Ahead to Summer

As Q2 comes to a close and summer begins, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead.

The momentum built during spring has positioned us for an exciting second half of the year, and we’re grateful for the clients, partners, and community members who continue to support our work.
