Our ideal candidate understands how to build custom, high-performing websites from scratch, adhering to modern development standards, ADA compliance, mobile responsiveness, and technical SEO best practices.
This role is primarily focused on website development, with a secondary responsibility of providing website support and maintenance for our company and client websites. While we aim to minimize direct client communication, you must be comfortable troubleshooting and assisting when needed.
This position is preferred in-office (Meadville, PA), but hybrid or remote options are available for PA residents only.

- Optimize websites for performance, security, and technical SEO.
- Implement third-party integrations as needed (CRMs, payment gateways, APIs, etc.).
- Follow the latest web development standards, best practices, and accessibility guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Website Designers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Website Support & Maintenance (Secondary Role)
- Perform routine content updates (text, images, minor layout changes) on client and company websites.
- Handle WordPress updates, plugin management, security monitoring, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical website issues.
- Maintain and monitor our client website hosting environment.
- Assist internally in keeping our own company websites updated.
Required Skills & Experience

- Strong proficiency in WordPress, Elementor, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of ADA compliance, SEO technical setup, and mobile optimization.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and performance-optimized code.
- Familiarity with third-party integrations, APIs, and custom functionalities.
- Knowledge of Google tools (PageSpeed Insights, Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Workspace).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- List Item #1
- Ability to troubleshoot website issues independently and escalate when necessary.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment with structured workflows.
Preferred Skills (Bonus, but Not Required)
- Experience with PHP and JavaScript (jQuery, React.js, or other modern frameworks).
- Familiarity with WooCommerce and eCommerce development.
- Experience with GitHub and version control workflows.
- Understanding of server-side operations and security best practices.
- Experience with Monday.com, ScribeHow, or similar project management/documentation tools.
